The COVID-19 pandemic has shaken the world in unprecedented ways. It has also served as a vivid reminder of how closely interconnected we are, and of our responsibility to care for one another. We have been humbled by and grateful for the frontline workers who have fought for our health, stocked our grocery stores, and kept us safe. We are heartbroken for all those who have suffered—first and foremost those who have lost loved ones, but also those who have faced isolation and anxiety and those whose businesses and livelihoods have been devastated. And we are moved by the acts of compassion, generosity, and strength we see every day.
We truly are all in this together. That’s why—to help our country and community get back on their feet—we have created a $3 million package to support healthcare workers and salon professionals during these challenging times.
GIVING BACK TO THE BEAUTY INDUSTRY
The passion, creativity, and expertise of stylists have always been at the heart of our success. The guidance they provide to their clients and to us when it comes to products and techniques is truly invaluable. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, salons and spas around the world have closed their doors to help prevent the spread of the virus. Since many beauty professionals are independent contractors or small business owners, the economic impact has been devastating.
To support the stylist community that has done so much for us, we have launched a multifaceted $3 million recovery program to provide salons and stylists with the resources they need to rebuild their business, stay engaged with their clients, and come back stronger than ever.
This started with donations to the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) Covid-19 Relief Fund and the Beauty Changes Lives relief initiative. These organizations are providing relief grants of $500–$1,000 to beauty professionals impacted by the pandemic, and we are proud to stand with them.
We are also helping our family of Moroccanoil loyalty salons and stylists by providing $2.8 million in support. Salons will now have the opportunity to take advantage of deep savings on station support, backbar products, and retail. We are also increasing our business support through various initiatives, including e-commerce (loyalty salons will now be able to sell Moroccanoil products on their website) and access to weekly business-building resources.

SUPPORTING HEALTHCARE WORKERS
In gratitude for their heroic efforts, we gifted thousands of products to hospital workers on the front lines in hospitals across the US. Though there is no way to adequately repay them for the time they spent away from their loved ones—risking their own health to help the rest of us preserve ours—we hope that this small gesture brought some comfort to those who are so very deserving of it.
