How to: | Simple Undone Bun

A simple undone bun inspired by Meghan Markle. Find out how to get the look from Moroccanoil.

The simple undone bun is deceptively complicated. Pulling it off well requires carefully toeing the line between laidback and done-up. Too many loose pieces, and things start to look sloppy. Not a hair out of place, and your look is a bit too formal. Done well, however, an undone bun is surprisingly versatile. It can do everything from providing a spot-on finishing touch for your casual Friday look to lending a perfect casual note to an ensemble that could otherwise be considered overly matronly. (For a très successful example of the former, see Meghan Markle’s Royal Wedding look.) Read on to find out what products, tips and tricks we use to make it happen.

What You Need

Mending Infusion, Luminous Hairspray Strong, a hair elastic that’s thin enough to easily conceal and bobby pins that match your hair color.

The Steps
